Rachel L. Ertassi is a first-time author whose debut novel is based right here in Midtown Sacramento. Written from multiple points of view, Ertassi is able to capture the impression a new serial murderer has left on the city of Sacramento. The novel also sheds light on life for those living with Type 1 Diabetes, as is depicted in one of her characters. Rachel L. Ertassi has been living with Type 1 Diabetes for twenty years and takes an interest in spreading awareness and fundraising for this disease.
